In the 14th minute, Paolo Rossi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Montesacro FC's Giacomo Casanova played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felice Frezza in the 17th minute of play. Fedele Colonna's late challenge caught a Montesacro FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fedele Colonna helped the player get up and apologised. After 19 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cesate! When Cesate's Kay Stormlund in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Loco Palermo made a kick off. 56 minutes into the game, Paolo Rossi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Manolis Peridis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cesate made a substitution. Angelo Vettori replaced Kay Stormlund. Montesacro FC made a substitution. Anthony Del Gatto replaced Mathias Almeyda. Manolis Peridis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paolo Rossi in the 62nd minute of the match. Manolis Peridis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paolo Rossi, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Loco Palermo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th match minute, Cesate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florian Carlini to maneuver through the defense. Manolis Peridis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Montesacro FC fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when Montesacro FC's Paolo Rossi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Giacomo Casanova didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felice Frezza went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Manolis Peridis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paolo Rossi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute Paolo Rossi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manolis Peridis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner ended in Juliusz Julien almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cesate's Manolis Peridis did a great save. Cesate's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
