Fletcher Main kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Alexander Higgins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İlhami Sabancı, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. The supporters of Scotland booed when TOPAL SOLUCAN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Batuğ Şakib didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Scotland's Zac O'Donnell in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye TOPAL SOLUCAN's goalie prevented a goal. Mahsun Eracar's late challenge caught a Scotland's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mahsun Eracar helped the player get up and apologised. Mahsun Eracar kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Alistair Morrison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. İzzet Özçınar hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the game, Cabbar Ungan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Alexander Higgins was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. TOPAL SOLUCAN's Tahir Özçevik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fletcher Main in the 22nd minute of play. Cabbar Ungan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Alexander Higgins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as TOPAL SOLUCAN's İlhami Sabancı slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alexander Higgins. That made the score 2-0 after 25 minutes of play. A hard shot 34 in the game by Cabbar Ungan from a close distance when the talented Alexander Higgins managed to make a qualified save. Scotland's players were relieved. TOPAL SOLUCAN were furious when Mahsun Eracar was red carded, 35 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 35 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for TOPAL SOLUCAN! The referee gave Scotland a penalty, 37 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Zac O'Donnell, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of TOPAL SOLUCAN's Tahir Özçevik. 2-1. Tahir Özçevik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zac O'Donnell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fletcher Main scored 2-2 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tahir Özçevik, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Cabbar Ungan made the kick off in the second half. Zac O'Donnell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Tahir Özçevik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tahir Özçevik came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Scotland's Fletcher Main. But to his dismay, Fletcher Main quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alistair Morrison got free with Tahir Özçevik in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tahir Özçevik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ashton Nelson in the 65th minute of play. After 66 played minutes Scotland got a freekick which was hit by Jack MacKinnon. Nazım Öztek charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nazım Öztek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, TOPAL SOLUCAN's Nazım Öztek got a free kick in the 67th minute. 70 minutes into the match, TOPAL SOLUCAN's goalkeeper Tahir Özçevik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fletcher Main. Fletcher Main took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tahir Özçevik. Tahir Özçevik dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fletcher Main got free with Tahir Özçevik in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 84th minute Zac O'Donnell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tahir Özçevik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmet Ege Tokyürek kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Batuğ Şakib during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Scotland's Zac O'Donnell couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for TOPAL SOLUCAN. If İzzet Özçınar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
