Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Toni Mauzer kicked off to start the match. NewDip F.C.'s manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Amos Oroni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damir Pongrac in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Dinko Stankovic got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ilija Skugor made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Edmondo Bracco sent off a good shot on target. Ilija Skugor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmondo Bracco, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Edmondo Bracco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Ilija Skugor when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ilija Skugor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmondo Bracco in the 38th minute of play. Antonio Tripodi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilija Skugor having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edmondo Bracco was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Croatia booed when NewDip F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Maldini didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Croatia's goal looked a bit too open when Edmondo Bracco came free, but Ilija Skugor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th match minute, Croatia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduard Kostelac to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Croatia's zone, Ciro Bruno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ilija Skugor came out of the goal and Ciro Bruno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 70 minutes into the match, Croatia's goal looked a bit too open when Fabiano Scarpa came free, but Ilija Skugor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by Croatia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bruno Lizzi was slow to take the kick. During this time NewDip F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Croatia's goalie and right to Ciro Bruno. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Croatia's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. When NewDip F.C.'s Edmondo Bracco in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Federico Di Maria managed to get in a good position for a shot. NewDip F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Federico Di Maria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ilija Skugor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 92 minutes into the match, Ciro Bruno notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Croatia's Ilija Skugor. Ilija Skugor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 95th minute, Damir Pongrac hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. NewDip F.C. had played much better football throughout.
