The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christian Wallner helped the player get up and apologised. After 2 played minutes Austria got a freekick which was hit by Christian Wallner. In the 3rd minute of the match Ricardinho Brasil sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabio Auer skillfully saved the ball. Ctirad Špalek scored 1-0 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabio Auer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ctirad Špalek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Auer having to interfere. Téo Loyola charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Téo Loyola the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Academia Santista CIMZ getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Téo Loyola hit a great ball. In the 16th minute, Leonhard Maier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dráusio de Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Auer having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilian Pirani in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabio Auer saved Austria from getting behind. Wilian Pirani scored 3-0 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabio Auer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Austria getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Marc Kronecker hit a great ball. Academia Santista CIMZ's Wilian Pirani got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabio Auer made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Wilian Pirani sent off a good shot on target. Fabio Auer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilian Pirani in the 44th minute of the match. Fabio Auer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilian Pirani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Academia Santista CIMZ made a substitution. Mané Garrinchinha replaced Wilian Pirani. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sandro Galishoff was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Mané Garrinchinha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabio Auer. Austria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mané Garrinchinha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Fabio Auer came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Academia Santista CIMZ's Mané Garrinchinha. But to his dismay, Mané Garrinchinha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. After having played for 61 minutes, Dráusio de Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Academia Santista CIMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dráusio de Queirós was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 74th minute, Mané Garrinchinha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabio Auer was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. 78 minutes into the game, Academia Santista CIMZ's Mané Garrinchinha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabio Auer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. After 83 minutes of play, Academia Santista CIMZ's Mané Garrinchinha made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabio Auer was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fabio Auer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mané Garrinchinha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the match, Mané Garrinchinha notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Austria's Fabio Auer. Fabio Auer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Academia Santista CIMZ booed when Austria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marc Kronecker didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Austria's goalkeeper Fabio Auer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Mané Garrinchinha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fabio Auer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mané Garrinchinha, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Academia Santista CIMZ walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
