In the 8th minute, Richard Fransson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 11 minutes, Sören Gregersson made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Slovakia's Henrich Slany tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Sören Gregersson took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henrich Slany. Henrich Slany dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Henrich Slany made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tom Lövgren in the 18th minute. Pavol Koleno hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Sören Gregersson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henrich Slany was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Sören Gregersson put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Henrich Slany. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mikael Juhlin got free with Henrich Slany in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Metod Mlynar fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Slovakia's protests and gave Metod Mlynar a yellow card for diving instead. Metod Mlynar kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Mikael Juhlin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Sören Gregersson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henrich Slany was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sören Gregersson in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henrich Slany prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sören Gregersson in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Henrich Slany, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sören Gregersson to strike the kick off in the second half. Slovakia's Metod Mlynar got his second yellow card of the match in the 52nd minute. The referee ordered Metod Mlynar off the ground. Henrich Slany came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by INIXET BK's Mikael Juhlin. But to his dismay, Mikael Juhlin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. A collision led to Slovakia getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Allan Östensson kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. INIXET BK were furious when Pål Svanberg was red carded, 65 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 65th match minute, INIXET BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pål Svanberg to maneuver through the defense. Vavrinec Koleno hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Henrich Slany took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sören Gregersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute, Björn Pihlgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee ended the match the INIXET BK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
