Midgard's Segundo Sidro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Önder Cebi in the 8th minute of play. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Midgard's goalkeeper Segundo Sidro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sydney FC's Sebastian Titz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Özdemir Danış in the 17th minute of play. Segundo Sidro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Milanese in the 19th minute of the match. With a little luck, Sydney FC's Sebastian Titz got control of the ball when Mustafa İzzet Terzi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Midgard's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Çağlar Civan in the 22nd minute. Segundo Sidro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludwig Hanstein, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. If Angelo Milanese had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the game, Sydney FC's Emanuel Ogășanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Segundo Sidro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 32 minutes into the match, Midgard's goal looked a bit too open when Önder Cebi came free, but Segundo Sidro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Segundo Sidro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Önder Cebi's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Segundo Sidro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emanuel Ogășanu went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After 39 minutes of play, Sydney FC's Önder Cebi made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Segundo Sidro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Segundo Sidro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Ogășanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Ogășanu in the 48th minute of play forced Midgard's goalkeeper Segundo Sidro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Sebastian Titz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Özdemir Danış, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Segundo Sidro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Önder Cebi went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. In the 59th minute, Arif Burak Uğursal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ferdinand Mendy took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Segundo Sidro. Midgard's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. It was a well-played corner which Angelo Milanese managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 67 minutes into the match, Midgard's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Milanese came free, but Segundo Sidro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Segundo Sidro made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Emanuel Ogășanu sent off a good shot on target. 69 minutes into the match, Midgard's goalkeeper Segundo Sidro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angelo Milanese. In the 78th minute Özdemir Danış shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Titz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelo Milanese could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Segundo Sidro made a huge save. The Midgard fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sydney FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
