Ronny Sundström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Dubiel, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. The supporters of BENA FK booed when F. C. Clonmels Devils was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bulus Bülbül didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvestre Claus in the 21st minute of play forced BENA FK's goalkeeper Ronny Sundström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Janusz Wielowiejski could shoot a difficult shot in the 27th minute, which Ronny Sundström however easily saved by the left post. In the 30th minute Silvestre Claus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronny Sundström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronny Sundström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Janusz Wielowiejski in the 33rd minute. Kant Spel's late challenge caught a F. C. Clonmels Devils's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kant Spel helped the player get up and apologised. Kant Spel kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, BENA FK's goal looked a bit too open when Silvestre Claus came free, but Ronny Sundström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The BENA FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ronny Sundström should have stopped the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Janusz Wielowiejski was the one to do the kick off. Clonmels Devils fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kaan Kaa couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Janusz Wielowiejski in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ronny Sundström saved BENA FK from getting behind. During the 90th minute of the match Kant Spel completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Kant Spel a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 91st match minute, BENA FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kant Spel to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of F. C. Clonmels Devils booed when BENA FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erland Bergström didn't get a good kick on the ball. F. C. Clonmels Devils's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
