Sydney FC's Sebastian Titz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zachary Anszczak in the 16th minute of play. Ronny Sundström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Ronny Sundström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Ogășanu in the 47th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emanuel Ogășanu to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Emanuel Ogășanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ronny Sundström was relentless in the 50th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emanuel Ogășanu in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ronny Sundström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Camilo Francho kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 6-1 when Guy Rothe sped through BENA FK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ronny Sundström. The Sydney FC fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when Sydney FC's Emanuel Ogășanu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ronny Sundström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guy Rothe, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 94th minute, Angelo Milanese ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ronny Sundström was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-2. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sydney FC fully deserved thier win.
