Jan Smolarek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 7th minute Niklas Ekerot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lilian Thuram saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Lucas Beltrán left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vetevendosje FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Hjalmar Petersson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lilian Thuram came out and tried to block the shot, but Hjalmar Petersson slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 15th minute. In the 19th minute of the match, Hjalmar Petersson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lilian Thuram saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Eduard Negru kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucas Beltrán got free with Lilian Thuram in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roland Rosendahl took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lilian Thuram. Lilian Thuram dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. With 34 minutes on the clock, Basarab Savin commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Lilian Thuram had in the 35thth minute some difficulties stopping Karl Finnman's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Jan Smolarek in the 38thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lilian Thuram, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Lucas Beltrán received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lilian Thuram came out and tried to block the shot, but Lucas Beltrán slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 40th minute. The Vetevendosje FC fans' excitement grew in the 44th match minute when Vetevendosje FC's Jan Smolarek looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

After 52 minutes of play, Vetevendosje FC's Niklas Ekerot made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lilian Thuram was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Hjalmar Petersson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vetevendosje FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hjalmar Petersson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lilian Thuram breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Vetevendosje FC fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when Vetevendosje FC's Jan Smolarek looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 66th match minute, PacMan SugarEaters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Åke Lång to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to PacMan SugarEaters getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Åke Lång hit a great ball. Lilian Thuram showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Smolarek in the 73rd minute of the match. Vetevendosje FC were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after PacMan SugarEaters's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Andy Eklund took the corner. A very nice done corner allowed Lucas Beltrán to score against Lilian Thuram in PacMan SugarEaters's goal. 8-0 after 75 minutes. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tim Brenner got free with Eşref Tuney in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arman Wallin hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Beltrán in the 87th minute of play forced PacMan SugarEaters's goalkeeper Lilian Thuram to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Vetevendosje FC booed when PacMan SugarEaters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hasan Tahsin didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Rosendahl in the 91st minute of play forced PacMan SugarEaters's goalkeeper Lilian Thuram to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute, Hjalmar Petersson made a precise shot to the right of Lilian Thuram. PacMan SugarEaters's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0. When the referee ended the match the Vetevendosje FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
