Reko Nybacka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel de Godoi in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Murilo Palmeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Catugi FC defense, Abel de Godoi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Reko Nybacka. The Catugi FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Reko Nybacka should have stopped the shot. 21 minutes into the match, Catugi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abel de Godoi came free, but Reko Nybacka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Catugi FC's Reko Nybacka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel de Godoi in the 22nd minute of play. The Olivedos fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Olivedos's Franklin dos Santos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Catugi FC's Reko Nybacka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franklin dos Santos in the 38th minute of play. Reko Nybacka was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 60 minutes into the match, Franklin dos Santos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Reko Nybacka, 0-4. Reko Nybacka made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. In the 93rd minute Dudu Borges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yuri da Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
