When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Filip Pantiș sped through Guarani Futebol Clube's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of José Augusto Mineiro. José Augusto Mineiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Filip Pantiș went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Filip Pantiș scored 0-3 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of José Augusto Mineiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 10th minute, Cacá Gomes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Augusto Mineiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filip Pantiș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guarani Futebol Clube's José Augusto Mineiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gigel Gologan in the 14th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Elivélton Veiga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Augusto Mineiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Pantiș, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. José Augusto Mineiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gigel Gologan went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. 24 minutes into the game, Eintracht Cernavoda's Gigel Gologan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filip Pantiș in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Augusto Mineiro saved Guarani Futebol Clube from getting behind. Eintracht Cernavoda's Gigel Tănăsocă was substituted for Codrin Izbașa. Eintracht Cernavoda's Grigore Blăniță was substituted for Gigel Gologan. After a rather tough play, Guarani Futebol Clube's Elivélton Veiga got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Nechifor Ibrișin was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 73rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elano Toledo in the 77th minute of play forced Eintracht Cernavoda's goalkeeper Eustacio Sotero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guarani Futebol Clube's José Augusto Mineiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Pantiș in the 79th minute of play. After 80 minutes, Viorel Plăcintă mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eintracht Cernavoda and the Guarani Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. Geovanni Fernandes's late challenge caught a Eintracht Cernavoda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Geovanni Fernandes helped the player get up and apologised. After 94 played minutes Guarani Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Geovanni Fernandes. When the match was over Eintracht Cernavoda could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Guarani Futebol Clube throughout the match.
