If Kaká Passos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tirense F.C.'s Waldir Palmeira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Tirense F.C. from getting a goal against them. Abel de Godoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kaká Passos in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Waldir Palmeira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vito Paiva charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vito Paiva the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luís Novaes was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 15th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. A hard shot 16 in the game by Abel de Godoi from a close distance when the talented Waldir Palmeira managed to make a qualified save. Tirense F.C.'s players were relieved. Kaká Passos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Abel de Godoi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Waldir Palmeira. Tirense F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abel de Godoi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 22nd minute, Tirense F.C.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kaká Passos fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 24 minutes into the match, Franklin dos Santos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Waldir Palmeira, 3-0. Waldir Palmeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel de Godoi in the 28th minute of the match. A collision led to Tirense F.C. getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Ronaldinho Rossi hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Abel de Godoi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Waldir Palmeira. That made the score 4-0 in the 29 minute of play. Tirense F.C.'s Waldir Palmeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franklin dos Santos in the 33rd minute of play. After 37 minutes of play, Olivedos's Kaká Passos made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Waldir Palmeira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Olivedos's Kaká Passos got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abel de Godoi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Waldir Palmeira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. The corner ended in Luís Novaes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Tirense F.C.'s Waldir Palmeira did a great save. Abel de Godoi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Waldir Palmeira made a huge save. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Kaká Passos sped through Tirense F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Waldir Palmeira. Waldir Palmeira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abel de Godoi went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Waldir Palmeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaká Passos, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Yuri da Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jefferson Arósio, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 64th minute Tirense F.C. were awarded a corner. Ronaldinho Rossi went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Ronaldinho Rossi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Olivedos's Yuri da Cunha did a great save. 65 minutes into the game, Abel de Godoi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Waldir Palmeira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 68 minutes into the match, Kaká Passos notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Tirense F.C.'s Waldir Palmeira. Waldir Palmeira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Jefferson Arósio fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tirense F.C.'s protests and gave Jefferson Arósio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 72nd match minute, Tirense F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jefferson Arósio to maneuver through the defense. Luís Novaes, 77 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Abel de Godoi came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Olivedos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abel de Godoi couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaká Passos in the 82nd minute of play forced Tirense F.C.'s goalkeeper Waldir Palmeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Abel de Godoi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olivedos's supporters rose to their feet, but Abel de Godoi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Waldir Palmeira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Waldir Palmeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel de Godoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Tirense F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Luís Novaes came free, but Waldir Palmeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute, Kaká Passos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olivedos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-0. 92 minutes into the game, Olivedos's Kaká Passos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Waldir Palmeira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 12-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Olivedos had played much better football throughout.
