Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aloísio Donato in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcel Jacinto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Grêmio Bulls's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Caetano Saad was slow to take the kick. During this time CE LAJEADENSE RS's players had a chance to rest. Afonsinho Freire tried in the 26th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Marcel Jacinto a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 4-0. In the 32nd minute Zhuo Chao Chuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Jacinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grêmio Bulls's Marcel Jacinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aloísio Donato in the 37th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enéas Madureira during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 38th match minute, Grêmio Bulls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enéas Madureira to maneuver through the defense. The CE LAJEADENSE RS fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when CE LAJEADENSE RS's Aloísio Donato looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. After 46 played minutes Grêmio Bulls got a freekick which was hit by Franklin Peixoto. Marcel Jacinto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aloísio Donato in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Aloísio Donato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Caetano Saad fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CE LAJEADENSE RS's protests and gave Caetano Saad a yellow card for diving instead. After 53 played minutes CE LAJEADENSE RS got a freekick which was hit by Caetano Saad. In the 55th minute Régis de Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Doykin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Afonsinho Freire hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After 61 played minutes, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Caetano Saad shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marcel Jacinto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CE LAJEADENSE RS reached it. 62 minutes into the match, Grêmio Bulls's goal looked a bit too open when Gildo Cearense came free, but Marcel Jacinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Aloísio Donato put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Marcel Jacinto. Aloísio Donato took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcel Jacinto. Marcel Jacinto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Marcel Jacinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhuo Chao Chuan in the 69th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gildo Cearense in the 70th minute of play forced Grêmio Bulls's goalkeeper Marcel Jacinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gildo Cearense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Grêmio Bulls's Marcel Jacinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aloísio Donato in the 73rd minute of play. Marcel Jacinto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zhuo Chao Chuan's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. 84 minutes into the match, Aloísio Donato notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Grêmio Bulls's Marcel Jacinto. Marcel Jacinto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 87thth minute of the game Aloísio Donato who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grêmio Bulls's Marcel Jacinto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
