Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Leandro Brito took the kick off in the first half of the match. Matias Taffarel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jano Cavalcante showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Grêmio RK75's Claudinho Montenegro got a free kick in the 7th minute. Grêmio RK75's Matias Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agostinho Salgado in the 8th minute of play. Montevideo were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after Grêmio RK75's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Agostinho Salgado took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Jano Cavalcante got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Matias Taffarel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Fiori Vasconcelos charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fiori Vasconcelos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fiori Vasconcelos hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the match, Grêmio RK75's Igor Nóbrega sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oleg Timofeev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. João Soares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matias Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jano Cavalcante in the 34th minute of play. Montevideo were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Grêmio RK75's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Agostinho Salgado took the corner. After 44 minutes, Nilton Lira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Grêmio RK75 and the Montevideo players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Grêmio RK75 getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Nilton Lira hit a great ball. Montevideo's Agostinho Salgado shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 45th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Matias Taffarel but with some difficulty. In the 47th minute João Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oleg Timofeev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luís Suárez to strike the kick off in the second half. Oleg Timofeev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Nóbrega, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 52 played minutes Montevideo got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano Valadares. In the 54th minute Leandro Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Deivid Barbosa got a throw-in 63 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Arthur Trigo. José Pedro Coutinho kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Grêmio RK75 made a substitution. Willian Bastos replaced Nilton Lira. Oleg Timofeev didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luís Suárez went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Montevideo's Oleg Timofeev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Montevideo from getting a goal against them. Arthur Trigo kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Oleg Timofeev was a little too slow when João Soares got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 1-2. After some careless play in the Montevideo defense, Willian Bastos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oleg Timofeev. The Montevideo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oleg Timofeev should have stopped the shot. When Grêmio RK75's Willian Bastos in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Montevideo's goalie prevented a goal.
