Chicão Gerber didn't get a good kick on the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Åke Fors dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kitt Pegov, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Austra VFC's Bernardinho Linares got a free kick in the 16th minute. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Degerfors IF's Åke Fors in the 28th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Kitt Pegov was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Austra VFC through an amazing save. Sebastian Sandberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Váldson da Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Austra VFC's Kitt Pegov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Åke Fors in the 33rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Austra VFC's zone, Anthon Eliasson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kitt Pegov came out of the goal and Anthon Eliasson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kitt Pegov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Åke Fors in the 41st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Austra VFC's Róbson Garcia got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Henrik Nordlund was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 44th minute. Degerfors IF's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance.

In the 55th minute, Olov Ivarsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kitt Pegov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Åke Fors in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Åke Fors got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Henrik Nordlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kitt Pegov having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Anthon Eliasson made a precise shot to the right of Kitt Pegov. Austra VFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Henrik Nordlund scored 3-0 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kitt Pegov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 74th minute, Henrik Nordlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Váldson da Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Gláuber Mazza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sebastian Sandberg was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. 79 minutes into the match, Anthon Eliasson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kitt Pegov. Austra VFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anthon Eliasson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. 82 minutes into the game, Anthon Eliasson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Kitt Pegov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Austra VFC's Kitt Pegov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Åke Fors in the 90th minute of play. Kitt Pegov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anthon Eliasson in the 94th minute of play. In the 96th minute, Austra VFC's Róbson Garcia seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Róbson Garcia the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Austra VFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Róbson Garcia had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 95th minute of the game. One of Austra VFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Degerfors IF:s goal. After 98 minutes of play, Degerfors IF's Leonard Christoffersson made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kitt Pegov was left in no man's land by his defense there! Degerfors IF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
