The Degerfors IF fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Degerfors IF's Åke Fors looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Fredrik Isak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Degerfors IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Fredrik Isak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelo Gröhe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcelo Gröhe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Åke Fors in the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Åke Fors to strike the kick off in the second half. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Marcelo Gröhe as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 72 played minutes 20 DE SETEMBRO got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Guilherme Cordeiro. After 74 minutes 20 DE SETEMBRO's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fredrik Isak who took care of the corner kick. Fredrik Isak made a great header on Degerfors IF's corner, it was just that 20 DE SETEMBRO's Marcelo Gröhe managed to reach the ball for a save. Degerfors IF's Leonard Christoffersson managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alfredão Peixoto in the 76 minute of the game. After having played for 77 minutes, Anthon Eliasson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Degerfors IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anthon Eliasson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alfredão Peixoto got a throw-in 79 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Luiz Guilherme Cordeiro. Marcelo Gröhe stood somewhat misplaced when Anthon Eliasson came free in front of goal and shot 0-5 to the left of him in the 81 minute. Anthon Eliasson struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Marcelo Gröhe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Degerfors IF. Åke Fors sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 93 played minutes Degerfors IF got a freekick which was hit by Fredrik Isak. Degerfors IF played a much better game than 20 DE SETEMBRO and deserved their victory. The 20 DE SETEMBRO players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
