Luiz Eduardo Novaes came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Antônio Santos. But to his dismay, Antônio Santos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, Tirense F.C.'s Ronaldinho Rossi got a free kick in the 14th minute. Luiz Eduardo Novaes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antônio Santos in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Antônio Santos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luiz Eduardo Novaes. Antônio Santos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. After 19 minutes, Ronaldinho Rossi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tirense F.C. and the ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ronaldinho Rossi hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Tirense F.C.'s Gilberto Garcia got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Xande Chaves struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Luiz Eduardo Novaes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙. After taking down the ball on Tirense F.C.'s corner Vito Paiva fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and João Vítor Arósio quite easily take care of the ball. Luiz Eduardo Novaes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antônio Santos in the 33rd minute of the match. Tirense F.C.'s Luiz Eduardo Novaes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antônio Santos in the 34th minute of play. ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Xande Chaves in the 36th minute. A nice corner shot did that Xande Chaves got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Luiz Eduardo Novaes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 37th minute, Antônio Santos made a precise shot to the right of Luiz Eduardo Novaes. Tirense F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. 41 minutes into the game, ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Antônio Santos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luiz Eduardo Novaes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. In the 44th minute, Antônio Santos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luiz Eduardo Novaes was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antônio Santos was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Tirense F.C.'s goalkeeper Luiz Eduardo Novaes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 51 minutes into the game, ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Antônio Santos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luiz Eduardo Novaes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. After some careless play in the Tirense F.C. defense, Antônio Santos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luiz Eduardo Novaes. The Tirense F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luiz Eduardo Novaes should have stopped the shot. The supporters of ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ booed when Tirense F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronaldinho Rossi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 64 minutes of play, ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Antônio Santos made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luiz Eduardo Novaes was left in no man's land by his defense there! 67 minutes into the match, Antônio Santos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luiz Eduardo Novaes. Tirense F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antônio Santos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-0. ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Ging Root was substituted for Xande Chaves. ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Arthur Guedes was substituted for Antônio Santos. Luiz Eduardo Novaes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arthur Guedes went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 12-0 was the resulting score. Arthur Guedes scored 13-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luiz Eduardo Novaes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Tirense F.C. getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Ronaldinho Rossi hit a great ball. If Arthur Guedes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the game, one of Tirense F.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Paolo Maldini placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! In the 90th minute, Arthur Guedes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 14-0. In the 98th match minute, ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eriberto Lopes to maneuver through the defense. There was no doubt that ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ were the better team. ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
