After 18 minutes, Dida de Carvalho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Heidemann FC - FSCMZ and the 20 DE SETEMBRO players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dida de Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Heidemann FC - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro de Alcântara came free, but João Carlos Paraíba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Maicon Freire left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. After 53 minutes of play 20 DE SETEMBRO's Alfredão Peixoto was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to 20 DE SETEMBRO getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Alfredão Peixoto hit a great ball. Anderson Domingues hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Guilherme Cordeiro in the 59th minute of play forced Heidemann FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper João Carlos Paraíba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luiz Guilherme Cordeiro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. João Carlos Paraíba came out and tried to block the shot, but Luiz Guilherme Cordeiro slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 63rd minute. João Carlos Paraíba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maicon Freire, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. With an all-out effort, 20 DE SETEMBRO's João Carlos Paraíba threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Maicon Freire, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Heidemann FC - FSCMZ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Teodoro de Alcântara scored to the left of an out of position João Carlos Paraíba, making the score, 1-6. Heidemann FC - FSCMZ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Maicon Freire scored to the left of an out of position João Carlos Paraíba, making the score, 1-7. Benjamin Barbosa's late challenge caught a Heidemann FC - FSCMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benjamin Barbosa helped the player get up and apologised. Marcelo Gröhe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivo de Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute, Heidemann FC - FSCMZ's Orlando Sá seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Orlando Sá the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Heidemann FC - FSCMZ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Orlando Sá had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 97th match minute, Heidemann FC - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Sá to maneuver through the defense. João Carlos Paraíba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antônio Carlos Tasso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
