The supporters of CE LAJEADENSE RS booed when Tirense F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcel de Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bater Palma got free with Luiz Eduardo Novaes in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Tirense F.C. getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Richard de Azevedo hit a great ball. Bater Palma's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luiz Eduardo Novaes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. CE LAJEADENSE RS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Caetano Saad in the 8th minute. The corner ended in Caetano Saad almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Tirense F.C.'s Luiz Eduardo Novaes did a great save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bater Palma in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luiz Eduardo Novaes saved Tirense F.C. from getting behind. Richard de Azevedo hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tirense F.C.'s goalkeeper Luiz Eduardo Novaes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 13 minutes Tirense F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Caetano Saad who took care of the corner kick. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Bater Palma was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Luiz Eduardo Novaes in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Bater Palma was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 13th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When Bater Palma, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 17 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Luiz Eduardo Novaes was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Gildo Cearense struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Luiz Eduardo Novaes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CE LAJEADENSE RS. After 20 minutes, Vito Paiva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tirense F.C. and the CE LAJEADENSE RS players grew even worse after the yellow card. 21 minutes into the match, Gildo Cearense notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Tirense F.C.'s Luiz Eduardo Novaes. Luiz Eduardo Novaes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Caetano Saad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Bater Palma notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Tirense F.C.'s Luiz Eduardo Novaes. Luiz Eduardo Novaes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 33 minutes, Bater Palma made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Tirense F.C.'s Luiz Eduardo Novaes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Tirense F.C.'s Luiz Eduardo Novaes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Tirense F.C. from getting a goal against them. A hard shot 37 in the game by Bater Palma from a close distance when the talented Luiz Eduardo Novaes managed to make a qualified save. Tirense F.C.'s players were relieved. 39 minutes into the match, Bater Palma notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Tirense F.C.'s Luiz Eduardo Novaes. Luiz Eduardo Novaes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gildo Cearense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Tirense F.C.'s Luiz Eduardo Novaes got control of the ball when Bater Palma tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luiz Eduardo Novaes came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by CE LAJEADENSE RS's Bater Palma. But to his dismay, Bater Palma quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.
The wind increased when Bater Palma made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Bater Palma ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luiz Eduardo Novaes was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. After 56th play minutes Bater Palma shot 8-0, a short shot which went by Luiz Eduardo Novaes and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 59th minute, Bater Palma left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CE LAJEADENSE RS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. Bater Palma's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luiz Eduardo Novaes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Luiz Eduardo Novaes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Caetano Saad went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. Marcel de Amaral's late challenge caught a CE LAJEADENSE RS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcel de Amaral helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Tirense F.C. getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Marcel de Amaral hit a great ball. Bater Palma took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luiz Eduardo Novaes. Luiz Eduardo Novaes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-0. If Bater Palma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Bater Palma's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luiz Eduardo Novaes was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caetano Saad in the 84th minute of play forced Tirense F.C.'s goalkeeper Luiz Eduardo Novaes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luiz Eduardo Novaes came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by CE LAJEADENSE RS's Bater Palma. But to his dismay, Bater Palma quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 13-0. Luiz Eduardo Novaes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bater Palma's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. The CE LAJEADENSE RS fans' excitement grew in the 90th match minute when CE LAJEADENSE RS's Bater Palma looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 14-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some careless play in the Tirense F.C. defense, Bater Palma kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luiz Eduardo Novaes. The Tirense F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luiz Eduardo Novaes should have stopped the shot.
