Marcel Jacinto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Degerfors IF. Marcel Jacinto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Åke Fors in the 14th minute of the match. Despite this Sebastian Sandberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Grêmio Bulls's goalkeeper Marcel Jacinto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Degerfors IF's Sebastian Sandberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Régis de Toledo in the 46th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 85th minute Kristian Brodin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Jacinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Natanael Mendes in the 87th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Degerfors IF's Olov Ivarsson. 87 minutes into the match, Degerfors IF's Kristian Brodin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcel Jacinto narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
