Fernandão Oliveira took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kitt Pegov. Kitt Pegov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The supporters of Pura Arte F.C booed when Austra VFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gláuber Mazza didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 15 played minutes Austra VFC got a freekick which was hit by Róbson Garcia. A collision led to Pura Arte F.C getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Fernandão Oliveira hit a great ball. After 17 played minutes Austra VFC got a freekick which was hit by Váldson da Silva. If Acácio Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pura Arte F.C's Válter Trancoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gláuber Mazza in the 25th minute of play. Kitt Pegov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Válter Trancoso was a little too slow when Bebeto Baiano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 1-2. Kitt Pegov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Austra VFC's Gláuber Mazza got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 35thth minute of the game Fernandão Oliveira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Austra VFC's Kitt Pegov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kitt Pegov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Moura in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Acácio Amaral in the 38th minute of play forced Austra VFC's goalkeeper Kitt Pegov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kitt Pegov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernandão Oliveira in the 43rd minute of play. Pura Arte F.C's Válter Trancoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Pura Arte F.C from getting a goal against them. 48 minutes into the match, Austra VFC's goal looked a bit too open when Acácio Amaral came free, but Kitt Pegov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gláuber Mazza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Amadeu Matos fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pura Arte F.C's protests and gave Amadeu Matos a yellow card for diving instead. After 52 played minutes Pura Arte F.C got a freekick which was hit by Amadeu Matos. In the 64th minute, Bebeto Baiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kitt Pegov made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Acácio Amaral sent off a good shot on target. Válter Trancoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bebeto Baiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Válter Trancoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bebeto Baiano went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Váldson da Silva hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute Fernandão Oliveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kitt Pegov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gláuber Mazza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Válter Trancoso having to make a save.
