Stefan Havel's late challenge caught a Werneck FC - DMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stefan Havel helped the player get up and apologised. In the 6th match minute, Slovakia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Havel to maneuver through the defense. In the 6thth minute of the game Emilio Machado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Slovakia's Henrich Slany was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 8 minutes Slovakia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joélson Amaral who took care of the corner kick. In the 14th minute, Joélson Amaral fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as Fu Ting Nan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Henrich Slany. That made the score 2-0 in the 20 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Slovakia's Oliver Holub got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Fu Ting Nan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 26 minutes into the game, Geraldo Dionísio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Henrich Slany was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Felix Donciu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Metod Mlynar, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Slovakia's Henrich Slany played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joélson Amaral in the 31st minute of play. Henrich Slany made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fu Ting Nan in the 32nd minute of play. Metod Mlynar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the game, Luís Coutinho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Henrich Slany was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 47 minutes into the match, Slovakia's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Machado came free, but Henrich Slany reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diamantino Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After some careless play in the Slovakia defense, Fu Ting Nan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henrich Slany. The Slovakia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henrich Slany should have stopped the shot. When Emilio Machado came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Werneck FC - DMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emilio Machado couldn't finish the play. In the 68th minute, Kornel Jahoda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henrich Slany took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessandro Martinez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henrich Slany didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fu Ting Nan went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Elias Bastos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joélson Amaral took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henrich Slany. Henrich Slany dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. The audience was convinced that Tiago Gabriel da Fonseca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henrich Slany was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiago Gabriel da Fonseca in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henrich Slany saved Slovakia from getting behind. When the referee ended the match the Werneck FC - DMZ players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
