Henrich Slany breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 8 minutes into the match, Slovakia's goalkeeper Henrich Slany had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Flavio Desiderio. At last the ball reached Flavio Desiderio at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Slovakia. 2-0. When Campania Athletic Club's Concetto Di Iulio in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Slovakia's goalie prevented a goal. Slovakia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Metod Mlynar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Henrich Slany took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Concetto Di Iulio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Slovakia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Concetto Di Iulio was slow to take the kick. During this time Campania Athletic Club's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to Slovakia getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Vavrinec Koleno hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute, Flavio Desiderio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Campania Athletic Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. 36 minutes into the match, Slovakia's goalkeeper Henrich Slany had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Flavio Desiderio. The crowd rose to their feet as Campania Athletic Club's Flavio Desiderio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Henrich Slany. That made the score 5-0 after 36 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Slovakia's zone, Concetto Di Iulio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henrich Slany came out of the goal and Concetto Di Iulio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andrea Mirto got a throw-in 43 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Concetto Di Iulio. Ragnar Vennegoor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Henrich Slany made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Metod Mlynar to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Ragnar Vennegoor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Henrich Slany was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 56th minute, Flavio Desiderio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henrich Slany was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. 60 minutes into the match, Concetto Di Iulio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Henrich Slany. Slovakia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Concetto Di Iulio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Flavio Desiderio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Henrich Slany tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henrich Slany showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ragnar Vennegoor in the 67th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Slovakia's Zigmund Maliar got a free kick in the 70th minute. Campania Athletic Club's Franco Sessa was substituted for Flavio Desiderio. Zigmund Maliar hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the match, Slovakia's goal looked a bit too open when Franco Sessa came free, but Henrich Slany reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute, Edmondo Biagetti ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henrich Slany was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. If Pavol Koleno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vavrinec Koleno's late challenge caught a Campania Athletic Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vavrinec Koleno helped the player get up and apologised. After 85 played minutes Slovakia got a freekick which was hit by Vavrinec Koleno. In the 87th minute, Ragnar Vennegoor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 91 minutes into the game, Rodel Francisco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Henrich Slany was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 94 minutes, Franco Sessa made it 11-0 with a short kick to the right side. Slovakia's Henrich Slany tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Campania Athletic Club walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
