With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnout Reekers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcelo Gröhe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 31st minute of the match. 33 minutes into the game, Gustaaf Groeneveldt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Marcelo Gröhe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arsenal de Gols F.C's Marcelo Gröhe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 38th minute of play. Georges-Philippe Puttemas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcelo Gröhe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Arsenal de Gols F.C's Pedrinho Goiano quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Kees Mooiweer, made in the 53rd minute of the game. Pedrinho Goiano hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Elias Siqueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 61 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Siqueira came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arsenal de Gols F.C made a substitution. Abel Moreno replaced Raimundo Alvarenga. Elias Siqueira scored 2-2 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnout Reekers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 95th minute, Egbert Nijveldt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Netherlands were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Arsenal de Gols F.C to leave the ground with a draw.
