Astor Aztore in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Henrich Slany was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Astor Aztore in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henrich Slany prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Through an outstanding action, after 39 minutes, Henrich Slany successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 42nd minute, Astor Aztore made a precise shot to the right of Henrich Slany. Slovakia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Zigmund Maliar kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Astor Aztore fired a really elegant long shot, but Henrich Slany threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

When Pavol Koleno was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 50 minutes had been played.
