Ove Ahlström kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After 20 played minutes Montechiarugolo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Edmondo Santilli. In the 22nd minute of the match, Ove Ahlström got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fortunato Lepori was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 24th minute, Fausto Lo Iacono hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute of the match ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ got a corner. Montechiarugolo AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Xande Chaves ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Antônio Santos to a score. 2-0 in the 27th minute. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Montechiarugolo AFC's goalkeeper Fortunato Lepori, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Antônio Santos sped through Montechiarugolo AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fortunato Lepori. Alfredo Lemma kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Antônio Santos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fortunato Lepori read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Fortunato Lepori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antônio Santos in the 41st minute of play. After 42 minutes of play, Montechiarugolo AFC's Daniele Cammarota made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. João Vítor Arósio was left in no man's land by his defense there! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antônio Santos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Edmondo Santilli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but João Vítor Arósio was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. 58 minutes into the game, ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Antônio Santos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fortunato Lepori made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. A collision led to Montechiarugolo AFC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Alfredo Lemma hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Ove Ahlström got a free kick in the 66th minute. After 70 minutes of play, ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Arthur Guedes made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fortunato Lepori was left in no man's land by his defense there! Daniele Cammarota came free with the goalkeeper in the 74th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and João Vítor Arósio could save by the left post. 81 minutes into the match, Montechiarugolo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Arthur Guedes came free, but Fortunato Lepori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fortunato Lepori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arthur Guedes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Arthur Guedes put it in 7-1 from a short distance just to the right of Fortunato Lepori. When Fausto Lo Iacono fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Montechiarugolo AFC's protests and gave Fausto Lo Iacono a yellow card for diving instead. After 91 played minutes Montechiarugolo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Lo Iacono. Fortunato Lepori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arthur Guedes in the 92nd minute of the match. After 94 minutes of play, ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Arthur Guedes made it 8-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
