Antônio Santos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Uğuralp Vasfi having to make a save. 25 minutes into the match, KOO Tigers's goal looked a bit too open when Antônio Santos came free, but Uğuralp Vasfi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ove Ahlström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Uğuralp Vasfi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antônio Santos in the 33rd minute of the match. 41 minutes into the game, Antônio Santos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Uğuralp Vasfi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Alfonso Cordario hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Arthur Guedes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Uğuralp Vasfi. That made the score 0-4 in the 91 minute of play. The ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
