An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilhelm Rolfsson in the 13th minute of play forced A.A. Francana's goalkeeper Renan Melo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricky Baby recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, E.C.Pelotas's Gerson Moraes got a free kick in the 17th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roman Koenig got free with Sobhy Paredes in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 22nd match minute, E.C.Pelotas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franz Anlohse to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the match, E.C.Pelotas's goal looked a bit too open when Charlie Boström came free, but Sobhy Paredes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When A.A. Francana's Roman Koenig in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye E.C.Pelotas's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, E.C.Pelotas's Gerson Moraes got a free kick in the 36th minute. Sobhy Paredes was a little too slow when Charlie Boström got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 1-0. Wilhelm Rolfsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Alfonso Leon made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, E.C.Pelotas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso Leon to maneuver through the defense. Sobhy Paredes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charlie Boström in the 53rd minute of the match. Francisco Secco didn't quite understand what happened when in the 56 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. In the 57thth minute of the game Alfonso Leon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.A. Francana's Renan Melo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Erivaldo Furlan kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. A.A. Francana's Charlie Boström got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Franz Anlohse's late challenge caught a A.A. Francana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Franz Anlohse helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to E.C.Pelotas getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Franz Anlohse hit a great ball. Charlie Boström scored 3-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sobhy Paredes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Roman Koenig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Sobhy Paredes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Lionel Ronaldo fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored E.C.Pelotas's protests and gave Lionel Ronaldo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to E.C.Pelotas getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Lionel Ronaldo hit a great ball. Sobhy Paredes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charlie Boström in the 77th minute of play. After 79 minutes E.C.Pelotas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Francisco Secco who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Francisco Secco got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sobhy Paredes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 81st minute, Francisco Secco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sobhy Paredes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charlie Boström in the 84th minute of the match. In the 86th minute A.A. Francana were awarded a corner. Francisco Secco went to the cornerflag to take it. Sobhy Paredes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Koenig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 93 minutes of play E.C.Pelotas's Franz Anlohse was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 93 played minutes E.C.Pelotas got a freekick which was hit by Franz Anlohse. For all the effort they put into the match, the E.C.Pelotas players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for A.A. Francana.
