Chase Palacios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chase Palacios showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After some careless play in the BUITRES II defense, Gino Bezerra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Chase Palacios. The BUITRES II fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chase Palacios should have stopped the shot. Rui Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chase Palacios came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Inazuma Japan's Gino Bezerra. But to his dismay, Gino Bezerra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 29 played minutes Inazuma Japan got a freekick which was hit by Gilson Prestes. 32 minutes into the match, BUITRES II's goal looked a bit too open when Gino Bezerra came free, but Chase Palacios reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rui Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Chase Palacios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chase Palacios took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilson Prestes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gino Bezerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chase Palacios having to interfere. Hortêncio Montenegro took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chase Palacios. Chase Palacios dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Chase Palacios didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paulo Renato Paiva went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Allen Salinas was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 57 minutes, Rui Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inazuma Japan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rui Silva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rui Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 59th minute, Cordeiro Asadov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fred Cardozo struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Chase Palacios didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inazuma Japan. Gino Bezerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to BUITRES II getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Bola Toro hit a great ball. In the 69th minute, Mór Cilia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rui Silva's late challenge caught a BUITRES II's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rui Silva helped the player get up and apologised. In the 72nd minute, Rui Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute Wilbert Mora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Vieira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Rui Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Inazuma Japan getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Fred Cardozo hit a great ball. In the 87th minute, Inazuma Japan's Tales França seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Tales França the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Inazuma Japan protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tales França had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 88 played minutes Inazuma Japan got a freekick which was hit by Tales França. In the 89th minute of the match Mór Cilia shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zé Vieira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dwight Kaplan kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 94th match minute, Inazuma Japan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gino Bezerra to maneuver through the defense. Inazuma Japan's Zé Vieira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allen Salinas in the 96th minute of play. In the 96thth minute of the game Allen Salinas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Inazuma Japan's Zé Vieira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilson Prestes got free with Chase Palacios in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The BUITRES II fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Inazuma Japan were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
