After a rather tough play, Abutres 2003 FDP's Ahmet Yahya Burçak got a free kick in the 7th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Abutres 2003 FDP's goalkeeper Jan Figlewski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by André Luís Zanette. ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s Cláudio Marangoni managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Fan Chong Lei in the 12 minute of the game. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Abutres 2003 FDP's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Robert Serwacki was slow to take the kick. During this time ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s players had a chance to rest. The corner led ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s Cláudio Marangoni to fire away a dangerous shot which Jan Figlewski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Fan Chong Lei in the 25th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s Cláudio Marangoni. Chiquinho Pombal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Guilherme Zanette tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abutres 2003 FDP's Jan Figlewski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Abutres 2003 FDP from getting a goal against them. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell André Luís Zanette to make the kick off. The supporters of ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆ booed when Abutres 2003 FDP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Qu Yao Yang didn't get a good kick on the ball. ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆ made a substitution. Wambasther Sneijder replaced Cláudio Caniggia. After 64 played minutes Abutres 2003 FDP got a freekick which was hit by Qu Yao Yang. ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s Guilherme Zanette played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Malin Karolev in the 79th minute of play. Abutres 2003 FDP's Ahmet Yahya Burçak was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Guilherme Zanette in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. André Luís Zanette's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan Figlewski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Qu Yao Yang hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. André Luís Zanette scored 1-0 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan Figlewski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
