In the 29thth minute of the game Donato Marques who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Laranja EC's Romário Dantas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Elano Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sérgio de Azevedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Armandinho Pernambucano in the 45th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Elano Simões managed to get in a good position for a shot. BMB IMOVEIS SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Elano Simões was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
