After 17 minutes of play, PALMEIRAS-UTAH's Dominik Olchawa made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alessandro Linares was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hugo Lucian in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Truman Harrington saved PALMEIRAS-UTAH from getting behind. 23 minutes into the game, Jorge Pirani cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Alessandro Linares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half PALMEIRAS-UTAH were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bailey Kerns made a kick off. After 54 minutes Caldebrazza's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Reyes Boyle who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Reyes Boyle almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Caldebrazza's Alessandro Linares did a great save. Alessandro Linares made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Bailey Kerns sent off a good shot on target. In the 60th minute of the match, Bailey Kerns got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alessandro Linares was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Pirani in the 66th minute of play forced Caldebrazza's goalkeeper Alessandro Linares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Dominik Olchawa took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Alessandro Linares to make any attempt to save it. Caldebrazza made a substitution. Stergios Stefanoulis replaced Hugo Lucian. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched PALMEIRAS-UTAH eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
