Ahmet Yahya Burçak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romário Dantas having to interfere. After 5 minutes of play, Abutres 2003 FDP's Osvaldinho Vergílio made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Romário Dantas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Romário Dantas came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Abutres 2003 FDP's Raphael Paraense. But to his dismay, Raphael Paraense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After some careless play in the Laranja EC defense, Chiquinho Pombal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romário Dantas. The Laranja EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romário Dantas should have stopped the shot. 17 minutes into the match, Laranja EC's goal looked a bit too open when Chiquinho Pombal came free, but Romário Dantas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chiquinho Pombal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the match, Laranja EC's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Yahya Burçak came free, but Romário Dantas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan Figlewski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cafu do Nascimento in the 28th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Laranja EC's zone, Ahmet Yahya Burçak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romário Dantas came out of the goal and Ahmet Yahya Burçak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ahmet Yahya Burçak struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Romário Dantas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Abutres 2003 FDP. Laranja EC's Romário Dantas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raphael Paraense in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Ahmet Yahya Burçak made a precise shot to the right of Romário Dantas. Laranja EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Chiquinho Pombal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romário Dantas having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Chiquinho Pombal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Romário Dantas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Yahya Burçak in the 46th minute of the match. Romário Dantas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldinho Vergílio, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

With his leg Romário Dantas managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when Abutres 2003 FDP's Ahmet Yahya Burçak fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ahmet Yahya Burçak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Romário Dantas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romário Dantas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chiquinho Pombal in the 67th minute of play. If João Vítor Dante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jan Figlewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Vítor Dante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laranja EC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Chiquinho Pombal scored to the left of an out of position Romário Dantas, making the score, 0-8. Laranja EC's Romário Dantas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Laranja EC from getting a goal against them. Romário Dantas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chiquinho Pombal in the 76th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Ahmet Yahya Burçak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Abutres 2003 FDP fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. A collision led to Abutres 2003 FDP getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Qu Yao Yang hit a great ball. In the 86th minute Raphael Paraense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romário Dantas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raphael Paraense got free with Romário Dantas in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 89th minute, Ahmet Yahya Burçak fired away a shot that was totally unreachable for Romário Dantas. The ball ended up just outside the left post, and Abutres 2003 FDP's manager could be seen angrily pacing the sidelines. In the 90th minute Luiz Fabiano Vidal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romário Dantas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romário Dantas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldinho Vergílio in the 92nd minute of the match.
