After 3 played minutes Apocalipse FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Rodrigues. After a rather tough play, Laranja EC's Didi Barros got a free kick in the 4th minute. The Apocalipse FC fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Apocalipse FC's Marcos Rodrigues looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Armandinho Pernambucano got free with Gianluigi Buffon in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 15th match minute, Laranja EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Didi Barros to maneuver through the defense. After 19 minutes of play, Apocalipse FC's Marcos Rodrigues made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Romário Dantas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcos Rodrigues in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romário Dantas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 23rd match minute, Laranja EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cafu do Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. Gianluigi Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Vítor Dante in the 31st minute of play. Marcos Rodrigues scored 0-3 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Romário Dantas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alfredão Vieira's late challenge caught a Laranja EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfredão Vieira helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Apocalipse FC's Alfredão Vieira got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 36thth minute of the game João Vítor Dante who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Apocalipse FC's Gianluigi Buffon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cafu do Nascimento could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Gianluigi Buffon made a huge save. After having played for 39 minutes, Marcos Rodrigues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Apocalipse FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcos Rodrigues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Apocalipse FC's Gianluigi Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Vítor Dante in the 40th minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Nico Alcântara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Apocalipse FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Laranja EC the free kick. A collision led to Apocalipse FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Nico Alcântara hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell João Vítor Dante to make the kick off. Laranja EC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Marcos Rodrigues 52 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-4. If João Vítor Dante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romário Dantas was a little too slow when Marcos Rodrigues got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 0-5. Apocalipse FC's Nico Alcântara got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 64th minute, Armandinho Pernambucano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 65 minutes of play, Apocalipse FC's Nico Alcântara made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Romário Dantas was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 68th minute, Marcos Rodrigues had to leave the field with a concussion. 68 minutes into the game, Vitório Pimenta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Laranja EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Apocalipse FC the free kick. Vitório Pimenta hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Romário Dantas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugênio Mineiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Laranja EC's Romário Dantas got control of the ball when Patrick Sampaio tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 75th minute, Armandinho Pernambucano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Patrick Sampaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute, Apocalipse FC's Patrick Sampaio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Romário Dantas. Romário Dantas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. In the 87th match minute, Apocalipse FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredão Vieira to maneuver through the defense. Walmyr Valle hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Apocalipse FC's Eugênio Mineiro shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 94th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Romário Dantas but with some difficulty. Apocalipse FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
