The throw-in from Cláudio Marangoni in the 7th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by E.C.Pelotas's Ataulfo Macho. Sobhy Paredes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Luís Zanette in the 9th minute of the match. After 14 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for E.C.Pelotas! In the 19th minute Robert Serwacki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sobhy Paredes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Alfonso Leon notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s Guilherme Zanette. Guilherme Zanette was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ataulfo Macho kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s André Luís Zanette sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sobhy Paredes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when André Luís Zanette got free with Sobhy Paredes in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ataulfo Macho hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. André Luís Zanette received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sobhy Paredes came out and tried to block the shot, but André Luís Zanette slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 34th minute. Sobhy Paredes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robert Serwacki in the 39th minute. 42 minutes into the game, Ataulfo Macho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. E.C.Pelotas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆ the free kick. ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s Mito Pelé was substituted for Cláudio Caniggia. Ataulfo Macho hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the game, Robert Serwacki recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sobhy Paredes. Robert Serwacki showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell André Luís Zanette to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, E.C.Pelotas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erivaldo Furlan to maneuver through the defense. Sobhy Paredes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Luís Zanette, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 54 minutes into the match, André Luís Zanette notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of E.C.Pelotas's Sobhy Paredes. Sobhy Paredes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. E.C.Pelotas's Luke Modrić was substituted for Alfonso Leon. Egon Isaksson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sobhy Paredes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. 90 minutes in the game Erivaldo Furlan did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Franz Anlohse. ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
