With 18 minutes on the clock, Kauã Munhoz commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Luiz Fábio Magalhães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Glauco Tasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Luiz Fábio Magalhães didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nuno Cardoso went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Luiz Fábio Magalhães was a little too slow when Glauco Tasso got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 9-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 9-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nuno Cardoso was the one to do the kick off. Luiz Fábio Magalhães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Cardoso in the 52nd minute of play. Glauco Tasso's late challenge caught a FURIOSOS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Glauco Tasso helped the player get up and apologised. In the 54th match minute, Lobo Guará was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Glauco Tasso to maneuver through the defense. If Nuno Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ezequiel Pereira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luiz Fábio Magalhães having to make a save. Luiz Fábio Magalhães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ezequiel Pereira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the game, Kerimhan Özonder cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Luiz Fábio Magalhães was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berker Başhekim in the 65th minute of play forced FURIOSOS's goalkeeper Luiz Fábio Magalhães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Lobo Guará's Ezequiel Pereira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luiz Fábio Magalhães narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 72 minutes FURIOSOS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nando Barbosa who took care of the corner kick. In the 73rd minute, Ezequiel Pereira made a precise shot to the right of Luiz Fábio Magalhães. FURIOSOS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 12-0. 80 minutes into the game, Lobo Guará's Ciro de Moraes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luiz Fábio Magalhães made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 13-0. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Ciro de Moraes put it in 14-0 from a short distance just to the right of Luiz Fábio Magalhães. In the 89th minute of the game Luiz Gustavo Rossi made a throw-in which Jefferson Viana played forward. After 90 minutes of play, Lobo Guará's Ciro de Moraes made it 15-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luiz Fábio Magalhães was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kerimhan Özonder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Luiz Fábio Magalhães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FURIOSOS's Sílvio Luís Rodrigues got a free kick in the 95th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Lobo Guará had played much better football throughout.
