In the 38thth minute of the game Zé Pedro Baptista who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Merusca F&P's Mauro-Facundo Buffon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 41 minutes, Petr Čech successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Florian Capasso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Florian Capasso made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Barr Eira threw the ball into play from the sideline. Merusca F&P's Fellipe Capixaba quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion.
