Renan Melo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobiasz Rostow, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. A hard shot 25 in the game by Tobiasz Rostow from a close distance when the talented Renan Melo managed to make a qualified save. A.A. Francana's players were relieved. Tobiasz Rostow in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. A.A. Francana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Master Champion the free kick. After 43 played minutes A.A. Francana got a freekick which was hit by Hussein Faraj. Lev Shershun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Renan Melo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Nicolae Ceaușescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aykut Canel in the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

A collision led to A.A. Francana getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Hussein Faraj hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in A.A. Francana's zone, Aarne Mikkola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renan Melo came out of the goal and Aarne Mikkola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Matei Corona's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Renan Melo was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Master Champion's Nicolae Ceaușescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Bettencourt in the 57th minute of play. Renan Melo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobiasz Rostow in the 59th minute of play. Erik Souza was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 62 minutes into the match. A.A. Francana:s Renan Melo showed great skill when he stopped Luiz Paulo Meireles:s penalty. Nicolae Ceaușescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Bettencourt, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 72 minutes into the match, A.A. Francana's goal looked a bit too open when Matei Corona came free, but Renan Melo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Master Champion's goalkeeper Nicolae Ceaușescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aykut Canel. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aykut Canel during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aykut Canel hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Tobiasz Rostow's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Renan Melo was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. 85 minutes into the match, Tobiasz Rostow notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of A.A. Francana's Renan Melo. Renan Melo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Jorge Vasconcelos sped through A.A. Francana's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Renan Melo.
