Petr Čech made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matei Corona in the 19th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Tobiasz Rostow dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Petr Čech, 1-1. After 23 played minutes Batalhão do Peçanha got a freekick which was hit by Christian Peixoto. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Petr Čech successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 34th minute, Deng Yue Zhen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicolae Ceaușescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Petr Čech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobiasz Rostow in the 38th minute of the match. Jens-Ola Gunnarsson was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 46 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Deng Yue Zhen was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deng Yue Zhen in the 63rd minute of play forced Master Champion's goalkeeper Nicolae Ceaușescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute, Matei Corona left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Master Champion fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Lev Shershun hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute, Deng Yue Zhen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Batalhão do Peçanha fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Master Champion made a substitution. Jorge Vasconcelos replaced Matei Corona. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jorge Vasconcelos in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petr Čech prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 3-3 when Jorge Vasconcelos sped through Batalhão do Peçanha's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Petr Čech. Deng Yue Zhen scored 3-4 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicolae Ceaușescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Batalhão do Peçanha's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
