France's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wincenty Bierfass ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to France getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Jean Bombelles hit a great ball. Conrado Holz hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Vanja Milenković made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Peletier in the 14th minute of play. In the 15thth minute of the game Frank Peletier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's Vanja Milenković was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Frank Peletier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Vanja Milenković tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stig Rødal kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Alexis Bruneau hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. When Frank Peletier came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the France fans jumped to their feet. Vanja Milenković didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for France. If Frank Peletier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Slawomir Wojciechowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A booed when France was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Peletier didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's goalkeeper Vanja Milenković, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner ended in Quentin Beaux almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's Vanja Milenković did a great save. The corner went over the outstretched arms of KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's goalie and right to Quentin Beaux. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 77th minute, Conrado Holz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Frank Peletier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the match, Camille Baume notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's Vanja Milenković. Vanja Milenković was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vanja Milenković made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Frank Peletier sent off a good shot on target. Camille Baume recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. France walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
