To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 41 played minutes Göpsen FC got a freekick which was hit by François Béasse. The throw-in from François Béasse in the 45th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by France's Remy Dupuy. Vahdet Canbolat could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Maxime Durand made a huge save. 47 minutes into the match, France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vahdet Canbolat. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Aytekin Hicab showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Peletier in the 77th minute of the match. Göpsen FC's Vahdet Canbolat got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vahdet Canbolat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxime Durand having to interfere. Aytekin Hicab made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Peletier in the 91st minute of play. Abdi Ökkeş hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match.
