But to his dismay, Dalmu Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Dalmu Sancho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. That made the score 3-0 in the 24 minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 27 minutes into the game, when Cvijetin Nanusevski put in a rough tackle. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic had in the 30thth minute some difficulties stopping Julen Alcalde's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 30th match minute, Serbia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Borjan Golubovic to maneuver through the defense. Luis-Antonio Ortiz made in the 33rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Serbia's Drasko Rajkovic. The throw-in from 李思斌 in the 37th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Serbia's Momir Gisic. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Serbia's goalkeeper Zvezdan Nedeljkovic, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Sandro Palacios fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ahsoka Team's protests and gave Sandro Palacios a yellow card for diving instead. Sandro Palacios kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the game, Gaizkine Echavarri threw the ball into play from the sideline. Serbia's Borjan Golubovic quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Serbia's Momir Gisic managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Sandro Palacios in the 47 minute of the game. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dalmu Sancho to make the kick off. Sandro Palacios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sandro Palacios was shown his second yellow card after 55 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. If Mergildo Jauregui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmu Sancho in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th minute Dalmu Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zvezdan Nedeljkovic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Dalmu Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ahsoka Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Dalmu Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 70th minute, Mergildo Jauregui left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ahsoka Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. In the 74th minute of the game Gaizkine Echavarri made a throw-in which Luis-Antonio Ortiz played forward. Dalmu Sancho struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ahsoka Team. Julen Alcalde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Dalmu Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ahsoka Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Dalmu Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dalmu Sancho in the 94th minute of play forced Serbia's goalkeeper Zvezdan Nedeljkovic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Ahsoka Team were the better team. Ahsoka Team's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
