In the 15th minute, OMONOIA's Ivón Echavarri dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Ivón Echavarri put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ilija Skugor. 22 minutes into the match, Croatia's goalkeeper Ilija Skugor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ivón Echavarri. If Ivón Echavarri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ivón Echavarri was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Ivón Echavarri put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ilija Skugor. If Ivón Echavarri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The OMONOIA fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when OMONOIA's Ivón Echavarri looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Ivón Echavarri managed to get in a good position for a shot. OMONOIA's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivón Echavarri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ilija Skugor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 69th minute, Ivón Echavarri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ilija Skugor was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. In the 73rd minute, Napoleon Kiewra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 邵城沙 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ilija Skugor having to make a save. 78 minutes into the match, Croatia's goal looked a bit too open when 邵城沙 came free, but Ilija Skugor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee ignored Croatia's protests and gave Martin Bosak a yellow card for diving instead. Croatia's Ilija Skugor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 邵城沙 in the 93rd minute of play. OMONOIA's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
