With an all-out effort, Storfors AIK's Arkadiusz Traczewski threw himself towards the right post 5 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jim Beneth, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 8th minute Tony Bergqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arkadiusz Traczewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arkadiusz Traczewski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kent Lenberg in the 11th minute. In the 14th minute Kent Lenberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arkadiusz Traczewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, David Bergman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Storfors AIK's supporters rose to their feet, but David Bergman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arkadiusz Traczewski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kent Lenberg in the 18th minute. A collision led to Storfors AIK getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Filip Nyman hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliks Cieslak in the 24th minute of play forced Storfors AIK's goalkeeper Peter Shilton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arkadiusz Kaminski kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Czarna Staszów's goalkeeper Arkadiusz Traczewski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pablo Lizzio. The crowd rose to their feet as David Bergman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arkadiusz Traczewski. That made the score 1-0 in the 30 minute of play. Arkadiusz Traczewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jim Beneth in the 32nd minute of play. In the 35th minute Klement Madajczyk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Shilton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arkadiusz Traczewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jim Beneth in the 37th minute of the match. Storfors AIK's Jim Beneth got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 40 minutes into the match, Kent Lenberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arkadiusz Traczewski. Czarna Staszów's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kent Lenberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Arkadiusz Traczewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kent Lenberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jim Beneth was the one to do the kick off. Kent Lenberg took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arkadiusz Traczewski. Arkadiusz Traczewski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. When David Bergman came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Storfors AIK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Bergman couldn't finish the play. In the 60th minute, Mieszko Figlewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jim Beneth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arkadiusz Traczewski having to interfere. Peter Shilton made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Teobald Szkarpiak sent off a good shot on target. Arkadiusz Traczewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Lenberg in the 75th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 77th minute by Klement Madajczyk got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Czarna Staszów's Arkadiusz Traczewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Bergman in the 83rd minute of play. Kent Lenberg scored 4-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arkadiusz Traczewski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kent Lenberg scored 5-0 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arkadiusz Traczewski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the Storfors AIK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
