With a left leg Arkadiusz Traczewski saved Czarna Staszów from getting behind. Sonny Algren succeeded in the game's 5th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. The supporters of Czarna Staszów booed when FC Karlskoga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Johan Bocklund didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to FC Karlskoga getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Sven-Edvin Isaksson hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Karlskoga's zone, Teobald Szkarpiak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar Finsberg came out of the goal and Teobald Szkarpiak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 15 played minutes, FC Karlskoga's Egil Kielberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arkadiusz Traczewski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Karlskoga reached it. After a rather tough play, Czarna Staszów's Benedykt Czerner got a free kick in the 16th minute. If Remigiusz Tomaszewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Klement Madajczyk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Finsberg having to interfere. Sonny Algren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Arkadiusz Traczewski made a huge save. Czarna Staszów's Feliks Cieslak got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arkadiusz Traczewski was a little too slow when Folke Söderström got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 2-0. Remigiusz Tomaszewskis short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Arkadiusz Traczewski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 39 minutes, Teobald Szkarpiak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Czarna Staszów's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teobald Szkarpiak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 41st match minute, FC Karlskoga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lennart Månsson to maneuver through the defense. Edgar Finsberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Klement Madajczyk, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobald Szkarpiak in the 44th minute of play forced FC Karlskoga's goalkeeper Edgar Finsberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
