Iulian Pietreanu started the match with the kick off. Gong Jun Feng made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Loui Dyndgaard sent off a good shot on target. Torben Drieø showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilson Arósio, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute of the match FC UNIREA Alba Iulia got a corner. Gettrup SIK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marciano Cambranes ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Marciano Cambranes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Torben Drieø quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Orçun Yalınalp struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Torben Drieø didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC UNIREA Alba Iulia. Gong Jun Feng stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kris Noander's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Torben Drieø showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilson Arósio in the 32nd minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Gettrup SIK's goal looked a bit too open when Orçun Yalınalp came free, but Torben Drieø reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Torben Drieø showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petrică Cândreanu in the 35th minute of the match. Gong Jun Feng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kris Noander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kris Noander to strike the kick off in the second half. Loui Dyndgaard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gong Jun Feng having to interfere. In the 57thth minute of the game Kris Noander who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Gong Jun Feng was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gettrup SIK's Torben Drieø played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orçun Yalınalp in the 58th minute of play. Torben Drieø made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iulian Pietreanu in the 60th minute of play. With a little luck, Gettrup SIK's Torben Drieø got control of the ball when Iulian Pietreanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gong Jun Feng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kris Noander in the 63rd minute of play. With an all-out effort, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Torben Drieø threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Iulian Pietreanu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Gettrup SIK were furious when Alan Koefoed was red carded, 68 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Gettrup SIK made a substitution. Krestoffer Brandmose replaced Nikki Nørredam. In a very dangerous position, a player in Gettrup SIK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 67th minute. Penalty! Wilson Arósio placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After 71 played minutes Gettrup SIK got a freekick which was hit by Arthur Stenhus. With an all-out effort, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Torben Drieø threw himself towards the right post 75 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Orçun Yalınalp, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Petrică Cândreanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gettrup SIK's Keld Popp was substituted for Sebastean Staniok. David Herstad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gong Jun Feng having to interfere. Torben Drieø made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orçun Yalınalp in the 84th minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Gettrup SIK's goal looked a bit too open when Orçun Yalınalp came free, but Torben Drieø reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If David Herstad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gettrup SIK's Joachim Kragstrup was substituted for Isak Krontoft. If Wilson Arósio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Gettrup SIK booed when FC UNIREA Alba Iulia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iulian Pietreanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arthur Stenhus struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Gong Jun Feng didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gettrup SIK. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
