After having played for 5 minutes, Rain De Hond managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Genk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rain De Hond was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Suat Kaya could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Gao Hao Quan made a huge save. 雷博思 got a throw-in 10 minutes in the game and the ball was received by 梅默弘. Gao Hao Quan was a little too slow when Alfons Rijniers got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 1-0. Jannes Van Leempoel came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by 『盛世メ名門』老头乐's Tạ 黄忠. But to his dismay, Tạ 黄忠 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 19th minute 梅默弘 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jannes Van Leempoel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 『盛世メ名門』老头乐 were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Genk's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cheng Mo Kang took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Cheng Mo Kang got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jannes Van Leempoel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 秦昂广 kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 29th minute of the match 『盛世メ名門』老头乐 got a corner. Genk's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cheng Mo Kang ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Genk's Suat Kaya in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye 『盛世メ名門』老头乐's goalie prevented a goal. In the 33rd minute Genk were awarded a corner. Loui Wouqier went to the cornerflag to take it. If Rain De Hond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jannes Van Leempoel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 梅默弘's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Suat Kaya was the one to do the kick off. Genk's Jannes Van Leempoel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Genk from getting a goal against them. Jannes Van Leempoel made an important save on a dangerous shot by 梅默弘 in the 57th minute. 58 minutes into the match, 『盛世メ名門』老头乐's goal looked a bit too open when Suat Kaya came free, but Gao Hao Quan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jannes Van Leempoel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tạ 黄忠 in the 61st minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Genk's goal looked a bit too open when Tạ 黄忠 came free, but Jannes Van Leempoel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute Suat Kaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gao Hao Quan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, 『盛世メ名門』老头乐's goal looked a bit too open when Suat Kaya came free, but Gao Hao Quan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Genk's Jannes Van Leempoel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 梅默弘 in the 81st minute of play. Suat Kaya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 『盛世メ名門』老头乐's Bai Zheng Feng was substituted for Vidoe Gegovski. Genk's Vergil Rupov was substituted for Suat Kaya. Gao Hao Quan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vergil Rupov in the 85th minute of play. After 87 played minutes 『盛世メ名門』老头乐 got a freekick which was hit by 秦昂广. In the 92nd minute, 『盛世メ名門』老头乐's 梅默弘 dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2.
