In the 8th play minute Joan Saboya came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Fabio Auer. 2-0. Billy Lång might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabio Auer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Billy Lång ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabio Schneider during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fabio Schneider kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. If Lain Clemente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 16 minutes into the match, Joan Saboya had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabio Auer. Austria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joan Saboya was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Lain Clemente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Joan Saboya notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Austria's Fabio Auer. Fabio Auer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Joan Saboya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marvin Harrer's late challenge caught a Aston Birra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marvin Harrer helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Austria getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Marvin Harrer hit a great ball. 27 minutes into the match, Joan Saboya had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabio Auer. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lain Clemente got free with Fabio Auer in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joan Saboya's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabio Auer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Joan Saboya took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabio Auer. Fabio Auer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. After 38th play minutes Joan Saboya shot 7-0, a short shot which went by Fabio Auer and just under the crossbar into goal. 44 minutes into the match, Joan Saboya notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Austria's Fabio Auer. Fabio Auer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 8-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sandro Galishoff stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Austria defense, Aristeo Campomanes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabio Auer. The Austria fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabio Auer should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Aristeo Campomanes put it in 10-0 from a short distance just to the right of Fabio Auer. 67 minutes into the game, Aristeo Campomanes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 11-0. Fabio Auer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aston Birra's Frenkie Pizzaleo was substituted for Billy Lång. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristeo Campomanes in the 71st minute of play forced Austria's goalkeeper Fabio Auer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aristeo Campomanes scored 12-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabio Auer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fabio Auer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristeo Campomanes in the 98th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Aston Birra had played much better football throughout.
