Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lino Tonete took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to Congo Bongo getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Lázaro Berdoi hit a great ball. Americo Mero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Ihazintu having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Ramiro Blai fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Cleto Maxin, passed just outside the right post. In the 11th match minute, Congo Bongo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Naike to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, Liquid Spirit's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Tonete came free, but Cleto Maxin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Epifanio Ihazintu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Virila in the 16th minute of the match. Epifanio Ihazintu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Gartxot, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Congo Bongo's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Gartxot came free, but Epifanio Ihazintu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute of the match Liquid Spirit got a corner. Congo Bongo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gogo Fortun ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Freddy Arias managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. When Freddy Arias fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Liquid Spirit's protests and gave Freddy Arias a yellow card for diving instead. After 35 played minutes Liquid Spirit got a freekick which was hit by Freddy Arias. 36 minutes into the match, Liquid Spirit's goalkeeper Cleto Maxin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lino Tonete. Cleto Maxin was a little too slow when Lino Tonete got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Liquid Spirit's zone, Lino Tonete stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cleto Maxin came out of the goal and Lino Tonete tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lino Tonete's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 41stth minute, Cleto Maxin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Liquid Spirit's Cleto Maxin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiro Blai in the 44th minute of play. After 46 played minutes Liquid Spirit got a freekick which was hit by Freddy Arias. After 47 played minutes Liquid Spirit got a freekick which was hit by Freddy Arias. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benjamin Virila to strike the kick off in the second half. Lino Tonete fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cleto Maxin having to interfere. Paulo Gilabert hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After 57 played minutes, Congo Bongo's Lázaro Berdoi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cleto Maxin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Congo Bongo reached it. The supporters of Liquid Spirit booed when Congo Bongo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Naike didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo Gilabert in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Epifanio Ihazintu saved Congo Bongo from getting behind. Faustino Eder kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After 65 played minutes Congo Bongo got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Lehior. Lino Tonete kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Congo Bongo's zone, Paulo Gilabert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Epifanio Ihazintu came out of the goal and Paulo Gilabert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 70 minutes into the game, Congo Bongo's Lino Tonete nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cleto Maxin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. When Congo Bongo's Lino Tonete in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Liquid Spirit's goalie prevented a goal. Cleto Maxin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lino Tonete's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. In the 84th match minute, Liquid Spirit was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddy Arias to maneuver through the defense. Lino Tonete sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reynaldo Gartxot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Epifanio Ihazintu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Benjamin Virila got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 96th minute, Tiburcio Rudolfo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Congo Bongo were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Liquid Spirit for a fine match.
