The audience thought a goal was coming when Gonzalo Henrico got free with Maximiliano Lop in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Victorino Misael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melquiades Rosalio in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Cleto Santikurtz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cleto Santikurtz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Victorino Misael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Cura del Futbol's Maximiliano Lop got control of the ball when Godofredo Chabier tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half Cura del Futbol were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Arnulfo Madeo struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Maximiliano Lop didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Three Deck Wizards. Cura del Futbol's Melquiades Rosalio was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 64th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Maximiliano Lop showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnulfo Madeo, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Jimeno Benat hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Melquiades Rosalios short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Victorino Misael to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Maximiliano Lop made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Efraim in the 86th minute of play. Maximiliano Lop didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rogelio Efraim went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score.
